WABL Debuts New Uniforms
Akron, Ohio – The West Akron Baseball & Softball League (WABL) on Friday debuted twelve new jersey design combinations with members of the league. Throughout the uniform design process, WABL focused on paying tribute to the leagues long-standing tradition, loyal WABL alumni and the community of West Akron while implementing modernizations that match the leagues revitalization in recent years.
“We are truly excited to share these new uniform color combinations with the members of our organization and the City of Akron” said WABL President Mike Dies. “Throughout the uniform design process, we focused on the core characteristics of our great league. We believe these new uniform designs reflect those traits while staying true to our history.”
Respecting the West Akron Baseball & Softball League's treasured history, the league maintained the core elements of the historic WABL uniforms, which have undergone minimal changes since 1957.
