Welcome
WABL was
established in 1957, and continues
to be a non-profit organization.
The league consists of boys youth baseball, girls youth softball and
co-ed T-Ball teams. The league is open to all West Akron
children ages
5-18 years old.
Big News for 2012!
WABL has partnered with Knights of Columbus Council #14255 to host its First Annual Memorial Day Championships Youth Baseball Tournament! The tournament will extend our own inclusive philosophy in providing an opportunity for recreation league all-star players to participate in competitive, tournament baseball. We are inviting teams from rec leagues throughout the City of Akron to come out to beautiful West Akron and participate in 10U and 12U divisions. The tournament will run Friday, May 25, 2012 thru Saturday, May 26, 2012. Mark the dates and come on out to support our own WABL Americans as they host teams from across the city!
Night at the Races Fundraiser
- When: Saturday, February 11, 2012
- Where: Akron Fire Department Union Hall, 161 Massillon Rd., Akron, OH 44312
- Cost: $50 couple
- Includes: 2 dinners, a horse and drinks
- Time: Doors open at 6:00pm. Dinner at 6:30pm. Post Time at 7:00pm
