WABL was established in 1957, and continues to be a non-profit organization. The league consists of youth baseball, youth softball, and co-ed T-Ball teams. The league is open to all West Akron children ages 5-14 years old.

WABL exists to provide community based recreation leagues for baseball, softball, and co-ed T-Ball. WABL wants to teach the player skills needed for our participants to move up to the best competitive levels of their sport.
